The Biography of St. Samaan the Tanner

The Coptic Orthodox Church has immortalized the memory of the miracle of moving the Mokattam mountain, which was performed by Saint Samaan the Tanner, by observing the three day fast which the church kept at the time of the miracle. The church has appended these days to one of the holiest fasts of our church- The Fast of Nativity.
