A Dialogue With Joshua
“A Dialogue with Joshua” is the second book in the series of “Dialogues.” It recounts the life and times of the great leader and man of God, Joshua the son of Num, the disciple of Moses. The book is a journey in time to meet with Joshua. With the question and answer format, the reader will be able to follow along the discussions. The book could also be a companion to your Bible study. There are many spiritual lessons that we can learn from Joshua, who is a type of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The following are some excerpts from the book:
· “The most critical point in my discipleship to Moses is that he taught me how to have a strong relationship with the Lord God, and totally depend on Him is all the minute details of my life.”
· “God, in judgment day, will ask … us about our faithfulness and honesty … task could be as simple as sweeping the floor, or as hard as leading the Israelites to the Promised Land.”
· “Fear not my soul … the Lord od all the earth is with you.”
· “Refocus your life on the only Hope, which is the Lord God.”
· “The Lord did not bring us to an unknown place, nor … to an unknown person, but He brought us to Himself, our true rest.”
· “The Lord God hardened the hearts of the kings … that He might utterly destroy them. Di God really harden their hearts?”
· “Nevertheless, people may say that you had much killing going on. Why did God allow such killing to happen?”
