Contemplation on the Book of Son of Songs

This book contains meditations on selected verses from the book of the Song of Songs.  It reveals the love existing between Him and the human souls.  This book is divided into an introduction and three chapters:

An introduction on the spirituality of the book, and refutation against the allegation that it speaks about fleshly love.

The first chapter speaks about the bride, i.e. the human soul or the church.  It contains four articles on one verse: “I am dark and lovely.”

The second chapter speaks about the groom i.e. the Lord God.

The third chapter speaks about memories of love between God and the human soul, and times when the soul is forsaken.
